How Gemma Sisia left country NSW to start one of Tanzania’s most successful schools

Today, the school that Gemma Sisia founded, School of St Jude, provides free education to 1,800 primary and secondary students across three campuses, and supports over 400 students at more than 40 universities worldwide.

Tanzania is home to around 60 million people. But there are only about 20,000 primary schools and less than 5,000 middle secondary schools, which go up to the age of 16.
