My kids are obsessed with swimming and in lieu of an actual swimming pool, they’ll be getting this inflatable version, which is made from certified biodegradable and non-toxic TPU (as opposed to PVC). When they grow out of it, it won’t end up in landfill.
These are a revelation! Made from 100 per cent silicon (ie sand), Scrunch buckets and accessories (they do gardening pots, too) are foldable and recyclable. Because what beach holiday is complete without a bucket and spade?
My eldest daughter especially has been talking about equality a lot lately, and also climate change, so this is for her. Every time Park makes a football, it removes 5kg of Co2. And for every ball purchased, a ball is donated to a child in need.

My husband is very particular about his headwear, but I am happy to take a gamble on this Will & Bear straw beach hat. It’s made from natural fibres and it’s adjustable, plus for every hat sold, 10 trees are planted to offset carbon.

During lockdown I took my husband on an organic and orange wine journey. He’s converted, so this mixed pack from sustainable winemaker platform Not Wasted is perfect.
Hunter Lab is the first organic men’s skincare brand I bought for my husband years ago, and it’s still his favourite. It has the right combo of luxury and minimalism for him, and it ticks my boxes of locally sourced, organic ingredients.

Perfect for that Christmas morning swim, these boardshorts are crafted from eight recycled plastic bottles. They are soft and quick drying – what’s not to love?

Jones & Co Saturday Vintage Vase
I bought a vase each for my mum and mother-in-law from Jones & Co last year and their freshly picked flowers always look so beautifully presented. I have this handmade ceramic Saturday Vintage vase in mind for my neighbour.
Wandering Sol The Cool Down insulated bag
For all my picnic-loving friends, this is on the list. It’s an environmentally-friendly alternative to an esky or plastic cooler bag, made from cotton, and folds down for easy storage.
‘What’s on my wish list’
I’ve just discovered Jemimah. Each piece is handmade in Sydney, using a range of dead stock fabric with a limited run of pieces. I would love this dress for Christmas lunch!
Natalie Marie Golden Wattle Pendant
I love everything Natalie Marie creates, but especially this handcrafted pendant, where 25 per cent of the proceeds go to either Australia for UNHCR or Afghanaid (you have the option to choose at checkout).
I am all for Nagnata’s focus on moving towards natural fibres – in terms of both sustainability and skin health. A crop-top-and-bike-pants set is high on my wish list.
Pause, by Rachael Sarra, framed canvas
Art is so personal, but I love everything that First Nations artist Rachael Sarra, from Goreng Goreng Country, creates. I have been eyeing ‘Pause’ for a while and would love to see it hanging on my bedroom wall one day.
