We love Aje’s trench for its unusual rope belt and metal hardware, and Bassike’s obi-style cocoon coat, with its dropped shoulder and refined detailing. Zara’s trench has a duck-egg blue lining and similarly roomy feel.
“Most of this season’s coats are slightly over-sized, which is great for wearing with a jumper underneath,” says Tara, adding that this is obviously dependent on whether you’re in Queensland or sub-zero Melbourne.
