Branded content editor
Part-time role (2 days a week), six-month contract
Location: flexible
Join our team and you’ll commission, edit, write and manage content for some of Australia’s leading brands, from philanthropic organisations to retail and fashion brands.
We are looking for someone who is (very) organised, and loves working on everything from human interest stories to thought leadership pieces, complex topics and case studies.
What’s involved:
*Coming up with exceptional, engaging content ideas that clients will love
*Commissioning and editing content to a high standard
*Liaising with writers, as well as sub-editors for proofreading and fact-checking
*Managing workflow to ensure projects are delivered on time
*Responding to client feedback promptly
*Attending client meetings when needed
*Managing content budgets
The ideal candidate will have:
*At least six years’ experience as a journalist or editor or similar
*A track record of commissioning and editing content for a recognised title/s
*A contacts book brimming with great writers
*The ability to manage multiple stakeholders
*Excellent writing and editing skills
