In every wardrobe there’s always a handful of hard-working pieces that prove themselves over and over. We asked three stylists to share the fashion buys that came out on top in 2023.

When I first got wind of the Marni X Carhartt collab I knew I had to get my hands on a piece from the collection. This bag has proven to be the best purchase, a great tote to take down to the beach or even a last minute overnight trip!
This Matteau skirt will make me instantly feel polished, beautifully tailored in a lightweight suiting fabric. It is simple and sophisticated.
These gorgeous silver shell earrings have come out nearly every dinner outing I’ve had this year !
I’m a jeans girlie, I live in them. I love the oversized fit of this style and the paperbag waist that is created with denim belt. Looks great with a fitted tee or tank top!

I have always loved Zimmermann. Its a happy celebratory brand that seems to make beautiful clothing that you want to wear to parties, holidays, weddings and lunches with friends…. all the fun things. I have always been obsessed with their prints. I recently purchased the Raie Spliced Shirt because I loved the fun mix of prints. I purchased it oversized and plan to wear it over my swimmers at the beach. It will be the perfect piece to protect me from the harsh Aussie summer sun.
I am very excited to have just ordered a special forever fine chain necklace with my five children’s initials on it in 9 carat gold. Its an investment piece I’ll have and wear forever and so special to feel like my kids are always with me.
I spotted this brand on Rebecca Judd, and I like it because I wanted to invest in genuine gold. Also, I have five kids – and very few jewellers make that many initials!
Recently I realised I needed some new summer pyjamas and am obsessed with the Goodnight Summer Sleep Set I purchased during the Black Friday Sales. I’m so glad I bought two sets, in Dusty Rose and Storm, as they are so so soft and really comfortable. They make me happy every night whenever I put them on.
I feel like JAG is a brand I have “rediscovered” recently… it hasn’t gone through a brand relaunch, it’s still the same designer, but it feels really fresh with great pieces that are thoughtfully designed and some fun original prints – they even did a collab with some local indigenous artists. I have purchased this sweet linen puff sleeve top and matching skirt which is perfect for summer lunches or even Christmas Day!

I don’t wear much jewellery day to day, so when I add an earring, I like them to pack a punch. I’m often torn between a bold gold style, or something bedazzled – and these are the perfect hybrid of the two.
Being pregnant most of the year, I was conscious to try and only buy things I knew I would wear after our baby’s arrival. This is the type of dress I can throw on almost any day and feel a little put together whilst being comfortable (priority number one).
I love an unassuming day to day bag. One that can balance out an outfit that feels too polished or feminine to me. Plus a chuck-it-all-in bag is my favourite kind.
A classic Breton top is something I never thought would be a favourite item of mine. But I wore this all through winter and have loved the oversized cut with shorts on a warmer day. I love styling this with roughly cuffed sleeves and chunky earrings for ultimate riviera vibes.
