It’s definitely sweater weather, particularly in Melbourne, and nothing beats the warmth of a woolly jumper. Over the years I’ve collected a few lovely sweaters that feel like old friends, but there’s always space in my wardrobe for another.
“If you’re looking for a timeless piece, you’re better choosing a neutral colour or a simple stripe – and there are lots of those in stores right now,” says stylist Lucy Wood. “I love to wear them over a long-sleeved top, accessorised with a gold chain or a string of pearls à la miu miu.”
